What to do during the Easter holidays
It won’t be long before the school Easter holidays are upon us so if you are planning days out or weekend trips we have some suggestions for you.
This website lists attractions all over the country, including a few in Suffolk https://www.thetouristtrail.org/guides/suffolk-guides/things-to-do-this-easter-in-suffolk/
One that caught our eye is the Talbot Trail, a five-mile walking tour around Sudbury. It is a series of 14 statues around the town that mark its history.
As ever, Kentwell Hall, Long Melford, will be holding its Easter events. These include a family trail that will be available form April 4 to 14, 11am to 3pm. There are more details here.
On Sun, 24 Apr, 10:00–16:30 at Brandon Country Park, Bury St Edmunds, you can pick up a puzzle sheet from the Copper Beech Café. Follow the trail, finding words along the way, fill them in to find the special word.
Of course, you can always head for Felixstowe, Lowestoft, or Yarmouth for a day by the seaside where you can make your own entertainment.
Or how about a weekend break in Thetford Forest.
We are lucky in Suffolk to have plenty of places to enjoy the outdoors or to find entertainment for the children and we’re happy to drive you to your chosen destination so you can just sit back and relax.
