Dreaming of escape abroad?
It may seem a bit early to be thinking of a winter sun or skiing holiday, but it is not looking likely that any of us will be having a summer holiday abroad this year.
While resorts may be keen to welcome us back following their lengthy pandemic lockdowns, flights are still in short supply and who can spare the time from work for a 14-day self-isolation period on their return?
But assuming there is no second pandemic wave in the UK and life continues to gradually return to some kind of normal the possibility of a bit of leisure travel by mid-winter is increasingly likely.
The holiday and travel companies are already advertising winter breaks and there seems to be plenty of choice online.
However, given that there will be an amount of pent-up demand it might be wise to start planning ahead and researching what is likely to be available towards the end of the year.
It may even be worth booking your holiday and flights, or at least putting down a deposit, but read the small print first to ensure you know your cancellation rights.
As ever, we will be available for safe and prompt airport transfers for both departures and returns, so do get in touch if you are thinking about an “escape” later in the year.
